UZC collaborated with Amazon to launch the "Future Retail Experience" smart retail solution, redefining online-offline integrated shopping experiences.
The system employs three breakthrough technologies: an intelligent sensing network using IoT sensors to analyze in-store customer behavior paths and product interaction data in real-time; a personalized recommendation engine combining computer vision and deep learning algorithms to accurately predict consumer preferences and generate customized promotion plans; and a seamless checkout system adopting RFID and biometric technologies to enable grab-and-go shopping experiences.
In the North American flagship store transformation project, UZC Seattle developed weather data-based dynamic product display systems, Munich Technology Center designed emotion-sensitive intelligent lighting solutions, while Singapore Innovation Lab developed ultra-high frequency RFID tags suitable for high-humidity environments.
After implementation, store customer dwell time increased by 42%, cross-selling success rate improved by 31%, and inventory turnover rate rose by 27%. The solution has received multiple retail technology innovation awards and become an industry benchmark case. UZC and Amazon are exploring brain-computer interface technology for retail scenarios, developing next-generation smart shopping systems that can respond to consumers' subconscious needs.
