UZC partnered with Medtronic to launch "HealthCompass," an intelligent health communication platform utilizing digital twin and AI technologies to redefine medical device branding.
The system integrates patient education, clinical data visualization, and telemedicine functions, employing multimodal technology to transform complex medical information into accessible visual content. In a pacemaker promotion project, UZC San Francisco developed personalized animation systems based on patient physiological data, Munich Medical Visualization Center created real-time 3D simulations of cardiac electrophysiology, while Singapore Telemedicine Lab designed multilingual doctor-patient communication interfaces. Using federated learning technology, the platform enables intelligent medical knowledge updates while strictly protecting patient privacy.
The project improved patient understanding of treatment plans by 53%, increased doctor工作效率 by 28%, and received the Medical Information Innovation Award. UZC and Medtronic are exploring metaverse applications for medical training, developing multi-user virtual surgery guidance systems.
