UZC partnered with Tesla to develop "Eco-AR Experience"—the world's first sustainable augmented reality advertising platform that seamlessly integrates environmental concepts with immersive technology.
The system employs three innovative technologies: a location-based AR engine that virtually displays vehicle eco-features around Tesla Supercharger stations; a carbon footprint visualization interface that calculates and shows real-time emissions reduction achieved through Tesla product usage; and a sustainable content management system that automatically generates environmental education content tailored to local policies and cultural characteristics.
In European market promotions, UZC created a series of AR experiences: when users scan Tesla charging stations with their mobile apps, carbon reduction data throughout the vehicle's life cycle visually emerges on screen; when scanning vehicles, the app displays statistics on renewable energy usage in manufacturing and material recycling rates. These AR experiences not only vividly demonstrate Tesla's environmental commitment but also provide engaging interactive educational content. The platform adheres to green computing principles, optimizing algorithms to reduce AR rendering energy consumption and offsetting server carbon emissions through carbon compensation mechanisms.
This project's successful implementation enhanced Tesla's eco-friendly brand image, increased consumer awareness of electric vehicles' environmental benefits, and set new technical standards for sustainable marketing. UZC and Tesla are now exploring the integration of solar charging with AR experiences to develop next-generation immersive advertising systems entirely powered by renewable energy.
