UZC Teams Up with Nike to Debut ‘Future Run’ Shoe Collection, Celebrating Athletic Innovation

UZC has unveiled a revolutionary sneaker collection for Nike titled Future Run, merging cutting-edge biomechanics with cultural storytelling. Designed by sneaker icon Jason Lee, the line features adaptive cushioning technology inspired by Nike’s Air Max legacy and sculptural silhouettes celebrating global athletic diversity. Each pair includes interchangeable lacing systems and embedded NFC chips that unlock athlete interviews and training modules via Nike’s app.

The collaboration highlights UZC’s strength in bridging product design with consumer engagement. A dedicated team from UZC’s Seoul studio collaborated with Nike’s innovation lab to refine the shoes’ aerodynamics, while UZC’s motion-capture team documented athletes in real-world training environments to inform the design process. The launch event in Tokyo featured interactive installations where visitors could customize shoe designs using AI-driven tools developed by UZC’s digital division.

Jason Lee commented: “This collection is about pushing boundaries without losing humanity. The adaptive tech adapts to the runner’s needs, but the artistry stays rooted in human stories.” The Future Run line will be available in 25 countries, with a portion of proceeds funding youth sports programs in underserved communities.
